WHAT KAHNYA IS
KAHNYA is a boutique web development studio operating from George, on South Africa's Garden Route. We build fast, conversion-focused websites, custom web applications, and AI-powered automation for local businesses, tourism operators, and clients across South Africa and internationally.
The studio was founded in 2024 by Jude Nolan, who leads development on every project. There are no account managers and no outsourcing — every site is built in-house, hand-coded, and shipped with performance and search visibility as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts.
FOUNDER
Jude Nolan is the founder and lead developer of KAHNYA. His background is in full-stack development and AI integration — building production web applications, automation pipelines, and custom platforms for clients ranging from local South African tradesmen to international academic institutions.
Jude works across the full stack: Next.js and React on the frontend, Node.js and PostgreSQL on the backend, and the OpenAI and Claude APIs for AI features and automation. Recent work spans a subscription video platform, a trilingual (English/Hebrew/Arabic) academic research site with full RTL support, and a run of local business and tourism sites across the Garden Route — see the full portfolio.
HOW WE WORK
Every KAHNYA project is built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel's global edge network — no page builders, no bloated CMS themes, no third-party plugin stacks. That discipline is why client sites consistently score 90–100 on Google PageSpeed Insights, and it's reflected in the free SEO audit tool we built so any business owner can check their own site against the same standard.
